This storyboard was for a long-form commercial that would be posted online, with the option for a shorter version edited for TV. It featured actor/singer Easton Corbin and was a mini rom-com that revolved around a young woman sneaking out of her house to meet her boyfriend. It had a music video vibe but needed to show the Ram pickup as the true hero. Most of the action was to take place at dusk or night so crew needed to refer to the storyboard to pre-plan lighting setup. Time is money and, in situations like this, a storyboard can cut an hour or more from a shoot, keeping the project on schedule and on budget. Here are the first five pages from the storyboard.
