Director Reid Long asked me to create a storyboard for a music video of the Telemitry remix of "Tequila Does," a fun, uptempo party song by Miranda Lambert. The concept was to show people at a summer party having fun and Miranda going from group to group with her bottle of tequila. As the guys goof off and swill beer, Miranda sings that nobody loves her like tequila does! Reid shared scouting photos from the location which would be Miranda's own ranch, including scenes with her Airstream named "Wanda the Wanderer." It was important that the storyboards show the progress from 'laid back and lazy' to 'full-throttle' party mode. Miranda's husband makes an appearance in the video, as does the producer or the remix, Telemitry, appropriately playing the DJ.
