Jack Daniel's Smoky Old Fashioned storyboard

This storyboard was requested by Nathan Thompson, owner/DP at Contrast Visuals. Nathan wanted to create very dramatic and sensual visual effect of the whiskey being poured from the bottle and the process of lighting the wood chips, filling the cloche with smoke to create the resulting cocktail. I did not include any background detail in the storyboard as the emphasis was on the framing of each of the closeup shots. The hand action was eliminated from the final edit. See the :30 video here.
